Congrats to Mimi Lok, author of the story collection Last of Her Name, for winning the  California Book Awards’s Silver Medal in Fiction from the Commonwealth Club of California. Last of Her Name continues to receive warm acclaim, as winner of the 2020 PEN/Robert W. Bingham prize for debut short story collection, and was also longlisted for a 2020 Northern California Book Award.

For those who would like to participate in celebrating Mimi’s achievement, the 89th Annual California Book Awards will be held as an online ceremony on Friday, August 28th, 2020 at 12 P.M.
