Kaya Press is so excited to be back at the Blk Grrrl Book Fair for the second year in a row! This two-day innovative fair uses literature and art to combat sexism, classism, racism, and oppression of all forms.

The fair will be located in Historic South-Central at CIELO Galleries/Studios, an inspiring space that fosters a community of all-inclusive education and art. The fair will have something for everyone: live performances, food vendors, gardening workshops, stacks of zines, fine art, kids activities, music, and more! And of course, Kaya will be there to help celebrate Writers of Color as well. We will have our beautiful books with us, and we can’t wait for you to participate in our #LitinColor activities!

Make sure to RSVP to Kaya’s booth at the fair, and check out the Blk Grrrl Book Fair 2016 on Facebook for more details on featured booths and artists.

WHEN: Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th from 12:00pm – 6:30pm
WHERE: CIELO Galleries/Studios, 3201 Maple Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90011.

“The most consistent intelligent wide-ranging committed press I know – Kaya is an example of how to turn ‘small’ books into literary arrows that shoot straight and true into the heart of our culture and (of course) ourselves.”
