Kaya Press is thrilled to be participating in the inaugural Little Tokyo Book Festival! The fair will highlight work from Asian American authors through panel discussions, book signings, and more.
This exciting, brand new event will be hosted by the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center, one of the largest cultural and ethnic arts centers in the country. More than 20 authors will be in discussion at JACCC’s Aratani Theatre, exploring topics like “Past,” “Community,” and “Identity/Self.” Visit Kaya’s booth to check out some Japanese diasporic literature from our authors—Gene Oishi, Shōson Nagahara, Sesshu Foster, and others. We’ll have stickers, bookmarks, and fun #LitInColor activities (you’ll get to use our typewriter)!
Don’t forget to RSVP, and check out the JACCC website for more information and a list of featured authors.
WHEN: Saturday September 24th from 10:00am – 7:00pm
WHERE: The Aratani Theatre, 244 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
