We wish Koon Woon enormous congratulations on his American Book Award win for Water Chasing Water, which he accepted last night. Water Chasing Water is the second poetry collection we have published with Koon Woon, the first being The Truth in Rented Rooms. We could not be prouder of his accomplishments and recognition–of which he is more than deserving!

Koon Woon was featured on APEX Express, a KPFA radio show on Thursdays at 7pm. In the interview, he talks about the meaning of the title of his collection and defines poetry in his own terms. He also reads an excerpt from his collection–a description inspired by his experiences in a Chinese-American restaurant’s kitchen.
