“In the 1990s, Kaya was a small publisher with a small office on lower Broadway in Manhattan. It threw book parties at a restaurant in SoHo. Now, 20 years later, Kaya is a smoking tiger with an office in L.A. It throws book parties, wins awards, dominates conferences, travels the world, and brings people together. Who’s responsible? Still, amazingly, Sunyoung Lee and her dedicated staff.”
