Zoë Ruiz is the newest addition to Kaya’s staff as our Events and Publicity Associate! She will be tasked henceforth with publicizing our books, leading our social media endeavors–overseeing the USC student contributions–and helping to organize Kaya events for 2015. We are ecstatic to have her on our team and can’t wait to see her ideas come to fruition to make Kaya even more outstanding!

Zoë Ruiz lives and writes in Los Angeles. Her writing has appeared in Ohio Edit, The Weeklings, Salon, Two Serious Ladies, the anthology California Prose Directory (2014), among other places. She is the former Managing Editor of The Rumpus and curates READINGS, a Los Angeles based reading series.
