Currently the Kaya Press office is practically overflowing with champagne and rainbows of confetti upon the announcement that one of our golden geese, Nicholas Wong, has just won a LAMBDA award for his poetry collection, Crevasse!

Wong co-won the prestigious award in the category of “Gay Poetry” with author Carl Phillips in a ceremony hosted by comedienne Kate Clinton at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

If, like us, you are completely in love with Nicholas Wong and would KILL for a double dose of him this week, be sure to hit up this great profile he did with TimeOut Hong Kong!

And after you have purified your soul in the online waters of Lake Nic-atonka, be sure to bring it on home by buying Crevasse here. Do it to accomplish your life goal of having a Lammy winner residing on your bookshelf!

“The most consistent intelligent wide-ranging committed press I know – Kaya is an example of how to turn ‘small’ books into literary arrows that shoot straight and true into the heart of our culture and (of course) ourselves.”

— Junot Díaz
