Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Mother’s Day weekend with four cutting-edge writers whose debut collections grapple with the ties formed by family, community, and history. Representing Kundiman and Kaya PressApril Naoko Heck, Cathy Linh-CheAmarnath Ravva, and Nicky Sa-eun Schildkraut showcase the breadth, diversity, and vitality of Asian American writing today. A discussion and book signing will follow. Both the event and admission to the Japanese American National Museum are free on Saturday, so stay to check out the museum!
